WorldCom in 2002 reported its Maintenance Expenditures as Capital Expenditures making a whopping earnings overstatment for 2001 at nearly $4 billion. The CEO was served a 25 year prison sentence starting in 2006.

All 3 reports are super important but what I hope people will pay extra attention in on the Federal Reserve Buyout of Bear Stearns. This sort of thing is not done without severe repercussions for the rest of us.
