Essentially all the soldiers who have been dispatch after Sept 2001 and who are now against the war have gather to have their stories heard. What you will hear in the next 4 days will bring to light the incredible fucked up crap that the US government has done to our soldiers and the Iraqi population.
I was listening to one women US soldier today describe the frustration she felt in having to guard junks of metal to the point of having to kill Iraqis if necessary. This really anger me so much. This is wrong! The war itself is based on false data, false doctrine, false everything.

Hundreds of veterans and active-duty soldiers of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars are gathering today for the Winter Soldier hearings. The soldiers plan to give eyewitness accounts of the occupations in Iraq and Afghanistan. Organized by Iraq Veterans Against the War, the gathering is modeled after the 1971 Winter Solider hearings organized by the Vietnam Veterans Against the War.
