Hi my name is Marcelino Peña and I come to you live from Los Angles, California. I am the son of an economic refugee/working class mother who is from Tijuana, Mexico and have grandparents by way of Guadalajara & Veracruz, Mexico.
I am an advocate for the poor. I have deep respect for the working class and those financially deprived by the elite’s institutions. I hold with great suspicion everyone else in this country. I believe the world will be a better place when society evolves from its current place of economic disparity. That is away from what Bell Hooks rightly terms as “white supremacist patriarchal capitalist” system.
This blog will act as a mirror to the matrix of various issues that I passionately want to find solutions, discussions, and at the very least bring to light. I will post video, music, and articles that all provide a highlight of what is going down in the world in regards to the furthering or undoing of poverty and inequality.
I should add that I am self-proclaimed feminist, environmentalist, socialist, and anarchist. I also consider Taoism, Christianity, Islam, and Buddhism to be my guidance. I’m not sure if these labels show anything but can be a starting point for many as I hope my blog will be also.
Please feel free to comment, criticize and otherwise praise or despise my work in progress. As I too feel that we are all artist and our lives are of our own creation that constantly needs improvement by others and thyself.
love, peace, and blessings,
Marcelino Peña (Azzouzi)

Thanks for the link!
Thanks for the work–its good stuff!
I am immersed in reading your links from your site. I must say, congrats. The only thing that stuck me is your claiming to be an anarquist all the while espousing Toa, Buddhism, socialism, feminism. In which way specifically do you mean to say that you are an anarquist?
impressed. Do you really mean it?
Day after day, yeah I really mean it.
Hello Mr. Peña,

Thank you so much for your time,

Can you tell me who the comic artist so that I can properly cite the image?
Thank you for your work and postings!
